I offer a personalized, in-home tutoring service that works with your busy life. I can meet you at home (or wherever is most convenient) and work with your schedule.
The support that comes from one-on-one tutoring can be what your child needs to gain confidence and achieve success. The Covid pandemic left many kids behind and lost academically. For many youths, virtual schooling was impossible - whether it was poor internet connections, inadequate technology, or a learning style that was not conducive to remote learning. All these factors may have set your child back - leaving them anxious, afraid, and unsure of what is to come as they return to in-person learning.
My background in special education, plus 30 years as a teacher, trainer, and educational content designer, makes me uniquely qualified to adapt to the way your child learns. Too often, we expect all kids in a class to learn the same way. This means many children don't get what they need to understand what is being taught,
As a tutor, I work with your child's unique learning style and way of thinking to achieve success in their school assignments. I can support them by supplementing their homework with the background they should have learned previously but ended up left behind because of circumstances.
My rates are reasonable.
Having someone work closely with your child requires that you trust the person you hire.
